Professional Billing Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Professional Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating payor denial and appeal follow up activities
Reviewing denial accounts for categorization and initiating appeals
Maintaining healthcare tracking tool and monitoring denial activities

Required Qualifications:

5 years' experience in Healthcare/Hospital Revenue Cycle Environment
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certification in Epic PB Resolute
Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management and insurance contract rates
Understanding of CCI edits, CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and Revenue Codes
