This role reports directly to the Assistant Vice President for Title IX and DHR (AVP). The Case Coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals reporting misconduct to EPC and will assist those individuals in connecting with support systems within the university and local community. The incumbent for this role must be able to interact with individuals who have experienced difficult and traumatic situations with empathy and a human-centered approach.The Case Coordinator will be responsible for managing their own caseload concerning issues related to Pregnancy and related conditions, as well as managing hearings required for EPC-managed resolutions. The incumbent must be comfortable working independently and with minimal oversight.Additionally, the Case Coordinator will assist EPC staff in creating and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all reports, support services, and resolutions in the office's database. The incumbent must be detail-oriented, comfortable managing data entry, and understand the importance of maintaining accurate records in a legal compliance setting.The incumbent will keep the AVP informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, and implications of work performed. They must handle highly sensitive and potentially political matters with tact and discretion, maintaining confidentiality as appropriate. The incumbent is also expected to recommend and implement continuous quality improvement in unit operations.Special Working Conditions: The incumbent must interact competently with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff. Regular interaction with campus partners, including the Dean of Students Division, Labor Relations & Employee Development, and Student Affairs & Enrollment Management staff, is required.   • Manage case progress and track timelines/deadlines for resolution services.
  • Document all case timelines and ensure proper record-keeping for annual reporting.
  • Organize and maintain complete case files.
  • Ensure intake/assessment is completed and documented in every case file.
  • Oversee hearing processes from scheduling to final closure.
  • Implement supportive measures in coordination with the AVP and resolution services team.
  • Manage cases related to pregnancy and related conditions, including case creation, outreach, initial assessment, and supportive measures.
  • Conduct initial searches for public records requests related to EPC records.Office Support
    • Provide administrative support, including file management, scheduling, and monitoring communications systems.
    • Assist team members in ensuring case files and documentation are accurate and complete.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with campus and community partners essential to DHR/Title IX functions.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
      • Familiarity with Title IX, Clery Act, VAWA, FERPA, EEO, ADA, and other relevant laws and standards.
      • Knowledge of social justice principles.
      • Knowledge of cultural competence principles.
      • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and take initiative.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse community members.
      • Effective collaboration skills.
      • Commitment to due process, fairness, and ethical conduct.
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
      • Successful completion of a background check.
      • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Zoom.Preferred Qualifications
        • Two years' experience in Student Conduct, Title IX, DHR, EEO, or related offices.
        • Experience with databases, reporting, and analytics.
        • Higher education experience, especially in public institutions.
