dreams. Purchasing & EHS Compliance Coordinator Location: Stockton,
CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Range: $26–$28
per hour POSITION SUMMARY The Purchasing & EHS Compliance
Coordinator supports plant operations by overseeing purchasing
activities across all departments while assisting with
environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance
initiatives. This role is approximately 70% focused on purchasing,
inventory, and vendor coordination, and 30% dedicated to compliance
support, inspections, and documentation. The ideal candidate is
detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in both office
and plant environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Purchasing & Inventory
Support (Approximately 70%) Create, issue, and process purchase
orders (POs) for all departments in accordance with company
policies. Review purchase requests for accuracy, proper approvals,
and budget alignment. Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing,
lead times, availability, and delivery schedules. Track open
purchase orders and proactively follow up on delayed or incomplete
deliveries. Resolve receiving discrepancies related to quantity,
pricing, or damaged materials. Maintain accurate purchasing
records, PO logs, and supporting documentation. Assist with
inventory tracking, stock level monitoring, and cycle counts.
Support vendor onboarding, setup, and maintenance of vendor
records. Coordinate with Accounting to support invoice matching,
reconciliation, and issue resolution. Compliance & EHS Support
(Approximately 30%) Assist with routine plant inspections,
including safety, environmental, and housekeeping audits. Support
internal and external regulatory inspections by preparing
documentation and records. Maintain compliance logs, inspection
reports, permits, and regulatory binders. Assist with
environmental, health, and safety programs and ongoing compliance
initiatives. Coordinate inspection schedules, corrective actions,
and follow-up activities. Ensure required compliance postings and
documentation are current and properly displayed. QUALIFICATIONS
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong organizational
skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong written and verbal
communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced environment. Preferred: Prior experience in purchasing,
inventory control, or administrative support. Exposure to EHS,
compliance, or regulatory support in a manufacturing or plant
environment. Experience working with vendors and cross-functional
internal teams. WORKING CONDITIONS This position operates in a
combination of office and plant environments. The role may require
walking, standing, and interaction with operational areas, vendors,
