Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)
to provide essential services during the Extended School Year (ESY)
for K-12 students. The role is contract-based and located in
Wilmington, DE, serving a diverse range of student populations
across multiple sites. Ideal candidates will hold a current
Delaware SLP license and be available to work Monday through
Thursday on a schedule suited to the specific site assignment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy services to
elementary, secondary, early childhood, or transition-age students
as assigned. Collaborate with educational staff to support student
communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student
progress and service delivery according to district and state
guidelines. Participate in team meetings and provide input on
individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications and
Experience: Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license is
required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but
not mandatory. Completion of a clinical fellowship (CF) is
considered; however, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
are not eligible. Ability to work effectively with students ranging
from early childhood through transition-age (18-22 years). Clear
understanding of ESY service requirements and scheduling
flexibility to accommodate site-specific hours. Work Schedule and
Locations: Monday through Thursday, 7:05 AM 2:35 PM with a
30-minute paid lunch. Multiple sites including elementary,
secondary, early childhood education, and transition programs.
Start dates are June 22 and 23, 2026, concluding August 7, 2026.
Additional Information: Candidates must agree to submit to an $85
criminal background check fingerprinting fee. Applicants should be
