Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician Job Description Machine Maintenance Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting breakdowns as they occur on the manufacturing floor. The goal is to prioritize safety while minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency. Technicians perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment according to schedule, replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, and sensors, and identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on machines. Pay Up to $40/hr Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns on the manufacturing floor. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on various machines and equipment. Replace or repair defective parts including belts, bearings, motors, and sensors. Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on machines. Collaborate with team members and leads to analyze and solve complex technical repairs. Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance. Document all maintenance and repairs performed on the floor. Essential Skills Industrial maintenance experience. Electrical troubleshooting, specifically with 480-volt 3-phase motors. Mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with PLC troubleshooting, specifically Mitsubishi or Allen Bradley. Robotic troubleshooting skills with Yaskawa Motoman or Fanuc robots. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is an extremely clean and organized automotive manufacturing setting. Shifts available include 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN.
