Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical,
Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, a related technical field,
or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with SMT
and box build manufacturing processes, with manufacturing best
practice (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and new product development.
5 years of experience performing DFx (Design for Excellence) using
tools such as valor and allegro, including developing PCBA
manufacturing processes, acceptance testing, startup, and
qualification. 5 years of experience in project engineering,
overseeing NPI operational readiness for senior levels. Preferred
qualifications: Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or
Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in new
site/line/equipment bring up/transfer and qualification. Experience
with a Product Data Management (PDM) Tool (e.g., SAP, Agile,
Windchill). Experience developing solid, effective technical
relationships with agreement manufacturers/vendors. Ability to
drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous
process improvements working with cross-functional teams, contract
manufacturers and suppliers. Ability to communicate with global
teams, collaborate effectively to achieve project goals, contribute
to the engineering community, and manage projects spanning multiple

As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer in Advanced Operations
Engineering, you will join the team responsible for new
manufacturing technologies and processes enabling New Product
Introduction (NPI). You will successfully develop, qualify, and
scale up new manufacturing processes in collaboration with Contract
Manufacturers (CM) and Joint Development Manufacturers (JDM). You
will bring an extensive understanding of the tools, processes, and
techniques used to manufacture infrastructure products. You will be
a valued partner to the product development team through your
industry knowledge and experience with the conceptualization,
implementation, and qualification of advanced manufacturing
techniques. You will identify Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
opportunities and support the delivery of high-caliber products and

salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$172,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,

more about benefits at Google . Responsibilities Support Advanced
Manufacturing Engineers in the development of manufacturing process
solutions and capabilities, including industry-first process
definition, startup, and qualification. Strategize the
implementation of manufacturing processes into established
production and capacity planning to achieve forecast goals. Develop
manufacturing documentation (e.g., Bills of Materials, assembly
drawings, manufacturing work instructions) in support of New
Product Introduction. Establish, deliver, and maintain
manufacturing and quality processes and standards for new
technologies, leveraging existing tools and processes as required.
Collaborate with design and cross-functional engineering teams
throughout NPI phases to identify value engineering opportunities
and ensure manufacturability. Work closely with manufacturing
partners on build readiness and process validation, solving design
and manufacturing issues efficiently to meet project timelines and
ensure flawless NPI launches.
