Description:Provides the overall planning, coordination and
direction for project management activities for the design and
construction of a large $300M+ ground-up public building
project.Fire Station Experience Required!The Project Manager
provides the planning, coordination, and direction for project
management activities to ensure they meet owner needs,
specifications, cost, and schedule. May supervise office/field
administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant
project/construction managers, and other assigned staff.
- Ensures compliance with owner's needs related to the project
design and specifications, costs, and schedule.
- Manages the overall project with attention to project data,
information, communications and approvals required by project and
company requirements between the owner, architects, engineers,
contractors/subcontractors and other project related entities.
- Primary contact and liaison for owner.
- Manages the project to ensure a successful outcome with respect
to cost, schedule and quality of the finished building.
- Oversees project specific criteria, procedures, documentation,
contract and related A/E systems for the project.
- Manages and administers project controls, cost, and performance
activities and procedures.
- Maintains oversight of the project procurement process,
submittals and RFIs.
- Provides supervision of the change order review process.
- Coordinates, directs and monitors activities of project
management staff, contractors/subcontractors, engineers, architects
and related performing entities.
- Provides oversight management of project logistics,
organization, systems, and resources.
- Strong knowledge of leading project development to include
contracts, design/construction management, project
systems/delivery, and specifications to ensure relation and
compliance to project requirements.
- Ensures project management plan and procedures manuals are
developed in accordance with contract requirements.
- Assumes the lead in project meetings, and supervises work of
others to include documentation, administration, and tracking of
relevant information and statuses.
- Manages follow-up on action items of all project
participants.
- Represents owner, related parties in public forums and
meetings.
- Consistently follows the organization's safety policy,
promoting a positive and collaborative safety culture.
- Ensures project closeout and documentation meets all
contractual requirements for final project delivery to owner

looking for passionate candidates that are flexible, experienced in
planning through closeout, expertise in infrastructure, and are
familiar or have experience with Lean Principals and Practices,
BIM, and LEED. Must be a creative critical thinker with Individual
skills, and possess the ability to Influence without authority.
Fire Station Construction Management experience required!Bachelor's
Degree with emphasis in technical disciplines such as Engineering,
Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent technical area
of study is with 7 years of experience in management of
construction, engineering or architectural related projects is
requiredOR Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business disciplines
such as Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or Management
with a minimum of 9 years of experience in management of
construction, engineering or equivalent technical
projectsProject/construction management experience with projects
focused on Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing, Energy Upgrades,
building renovation, and HCAI (formerly OSHPD) review, including
expertise in, scheduling, estimating, project execution plans, and
Lean Processes. Experience with the USGBC LEED rating system is
also preferred.Advanced knowledge and application of construction
estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation,
engineering and construction principles, techniques, materials,
applications, and practices.Thorough understanding of contracts,
documents, drawings and specifications.Strong computer skills and
proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Word, and applied
experience in project related systems such as accounting/cost
software, scheduling programs and documentation tracking
systemsExperience with overall construction management on complex
projects from pre-construction through final punch-list and
delivery.Applied experience in the areas of project accounting,
cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional
