Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) initiatives and align our CPQ program with our business goals. This techno-functional role will manage a team of developers, design Salesforce CPQ solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and execute the CPQ roadmap. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ, the Force.com platform, and a proven track record of driving best practices and processes in a B2B SaaS environment.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CPQ solutions to support our Lead to Order processes, including Quotes, Contracts, Amendments, and Renewals.
  • Manage stakeholders, run CPQ prioritization and demand intake meetings, manage the production support backlog, and report delivery metrics.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce CPQ developers.
  • Design, develop, enhance, support, analyze, maintain, and test new and existing Salesforce/CPQ functionality and related managed applications.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and other IT team members to ensure solutions meet business needs and are scalable.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in Salesforce CPQ and related integrations, proposing robust and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, gather requirements, explain technological constraints, and present solutions to business stakeholders.
  • Work with other IT teams to effectively integrate Salesforce CPQ with other enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle ERP, marketing platforms, customer success tools, data lake).
  • Participate in key phases of the Salesforce/CPQ development lifecycle.
  • Manage incident response and processes for timely and effective resolution of CPQ-related incidents.
  • Leverage ServiceNow and Jira for tracking, prioritizing, and resolving CPQ incidents.
  • Define and implement processes for monitoring and reporting on CPQ delivery metrics across projects and production support.
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes related to incident response and delivery management for CPQ solutions.Qualifications:
    • Strong understanding of Lead to Order processes in a B2B SaaS business environment.
    • Demonstrated track record managing stakeholders, delivering CPQ enhancements, in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong experience with CPQ configuration (product configuration, quoting, pricing, renewals) and experience implementing product rules, price rules, advanced approvals, bundles, product configuration, summary variables, guided selling, quote templates, MDQ, and QCP plugins.
    • Proven experience in configuring, handling, and customizing Salesforce CPQ for large organizations, including building CPQ solutions from Lead to Order, Contracts, Amendments, and Renewals.
    • Excellent technical skills in Salesforce and adjacent technologies. Salesforce development experience is a big plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce, with at least 4 years focused on Salesforce CPQ in a B2B SaaS environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas in a business-friendly manner.
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders, present best practices, and create roadmaps.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps.
    • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams in project and production support delivery context.
