on our website.Job Overview:The National Accounts Manager (NAM) is
responsible for developing and expanding impactful partnerships
with key national clients across multiple markets, ensuring
strategic alignment with company goals and driving revenue growth.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining and expanding
the company's customer base by collaborating with both internal
teams and external stakeholders. The NAM will work to maximize
account potential, enhance customer satisfaction, and ultimately
contribute to the organization's overall sales objectives.Key
ResponsibilitiesAccount Management:Building and expanding
high-impact partnerships and relationships with key national
accounts (hotel groups, restaurant chains, luxury hospitality and
entertainment venues), acting as the primary point of
contact.Oversee day-to-day account activities, ensuring client
needs are met and that the company's products/services are
delivered as promised.Regular travel to lead impactful in-person
presentations, meetings, and industry conferences.Regularly
communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and
provide tailored solutions.Build deep, trust-based relationships
with key decision-makers and buyers through regular face-to-face
engagement, a critical driver of sustained growth at the national
level.Serve as the liaison between the client and internal teams
(e.g., sales, marketing, logistics, product development) to ensure
effective execution of business strategies.Sales Strategy &
Execution:Develop and execute sales strategies for existing
national accounts to maximize revenue growth.Identify and pursue
growth opportunities within existing accounts and through new
partnership opportunities. Partner with distributor National
Account and third party marketing teams to activate programs and
ensure compliance at the local level.Develop strong
cross-functional relationships with VINTUS sales, marketing, and
logistics teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.Align
pricing, programming, and promotions to maximize profitability and
brand visibility.Monitor sales performance against targets and
develop corrective action plans when necessary.Track and manage
program compliance at the local levelClient Retention &
Satisfaction:Proactively engage clients to ensure their
satisfaction with the products/services provided, handling issues
and resolving conflicts quickly and effectively.Regularly assess
customer needs and propose product/service enhancements or
changes.Conduct periodic business reviews with clients to
demonstrate value and identify opportunities for improvement or
expansion.Market & Industry Analysis:Stay current with industry
trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new
opportunities or threats to existing business.Provide feedback to
the marketing and product teams on customer trends, competitive
activities, and potential gaps in the product or service
offering.Reporting & Forecasting:Provide regular reports on account
status, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to senior
management.Use CRM software to maintain detailed records of account
interactions, sales progress, and key insights.Education:Bachelor's
degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
(preferred).Experience:3 years in managing On-Premise National
Accounts or large-scale clients in the wine industry with 5+ years
of experience in Wine and Spirits sales or account managementA
proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and
managing large, complex client portfolios.Skills:Excels as an
independent contributor as well as a collaborative team member to
drive execution at the corporate and local level.Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Wine knowledge
and accreditations encouraged.Strong analytical skills and ability
to interpret sales data to make strategic decisions.Ability to
build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all
organizational levels.Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft
Office Suite.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple
priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving
skills and ability to think critically to address client
challenges.Requirements:West Coast location preferred to complement
team structure (but open to top talent regardless of geography) due
to the nature of the role that will bring you to multiple parts of
the country.Strong network in the hospitality, hotel and travel
sectorsStrong knowledge of the three-tier system, pricing
