Job Description:
Provides professional nursing care of infants in the nursery and
for mothers in the post partum unit; coordinates care planning with
other disciplines; maintains standards of professonal
practice.Qualifications: 2 years of Acute Care experienceGraduate
of an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.Current CA RN
license required with BLS. NRP (Neonatal resuscitation program)
withing 6 months of hireMust attend annual ICN (Intensive Care
Nursery) skills review.This is a new grad position.Candidate with
neonatal (Level II or III) preceptorship in final semester of
nursing school preferred. Candidate with NRP certification
perferred. Good communication skills, teamwork philosophy, and
critical thinking skills.
