Job Description:
The Medical Assistant assists clinicians and other members of
the health care team in clinic offices by performing a variety of
back office, patient-related tasks and ensuring smooth patient and
work flow within the department.May work at any SEBMF office
location.Adheres to SEBMF policies and procedures and supports the
mission and vision statement.Qualifications: Required: High school
diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Medical Assisting
program approved by SEBMF and/or equivalentA minimum of 160 back
office extern hoursCurrent AHA healthcare provider BLS
certificationAAMA, AMT, NCCT, or CCBMA certification required
within twelve (12) months of hireBasic keyboarding and computer
abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skills;
