Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required. - Must have experience with Epic charting system. - Ability to float to ED, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Neuro ICU position. This role requires a focus on critically ill patients with neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro nursing. Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex patient care are essential. The nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Patient care involves post-operative monitoring and management of neurological patients. Experience in administering emergency medications and managing ventilators is necessary. The nurse will provide care using advanced technology and equipment. There will be a need for continuous assessment and clinical judgment skills. Weekly weekend shifts are expected as part of this role.
