Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with California
licensure, CNMT, and at least 2 years of recent experience for a
day shift contract assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a
hospital-based nuclear medicine department - Day shift schedule,
5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Perform both routine and
specialized nuclear medicine procedures - Utilize Epic EMR, with
experience preferred - May assist in orienting new staff members to
the department - Responsible for producing quality nuclear medicine
images for diagnostic and treatment purposes - Expected to
demonstrate independent judgment and strong clinical skills -
Strong patient communication and assessment skills are required to
gain patient cooperation and ensure safety - Must adhere to privacy
and safety standards according to local, state, and federal
regulations - Only one holiday off will be approved during the
assignment - Returning travelers must have a 1 year gap before
returning - A 50 mile radius rule applies for travel candidates -
Locals are accepted at a local rate - Modules completed during
orientation via e-learning and may require 1-5 hours Requirements -
Current California State License is required if applicable -
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification is
required - BLS certification from AHA must be in hand at the time
of consideration - Minimum of 2 years recent nuclear medicine
technologist experience is required - Experience with Epic EMR is
preferred - Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of
