TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Castro Valley, California, 94546! Pay Information $2,814 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Neuro ICU License: Valid RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Neuro experience Description: Locals accepted with a travel requirement of 50 miles. Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate. California RN License and certifications must be in hand to submit. Weekend requirements: Every other weekend. Patient ratios: 1:2. Epic experience is required. Candidates may float to the Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department. Daily census consists of 18 to 22 patients. The unit is a 24-bed ICU split between two wings. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and others. Patient diagnoses include neuro/stroke ICU post-thrombectomy and trauma patients. The work environment is fast-paced with a focus on patient throughput. Special procedures involve massive blood transfusion and EVD management. All certifications must be AHA approved.
