Job Title: RN Cardiology City: Salinas State: CA Job Type: Travel Discipline: RN Specialty: Cardiology Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00) Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications: Education: Associates of Science in nursing (ASN) required BSN preferred. CA RN, BLS and ACLS required as per AHA standards. Mandatory Experience: RN Needs at least 2 years of recent Cardiology experience. Experience: A minimum of 1 year Clinical Registered Nurse experience required . Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Precise hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity is necessary to administer medications, start IV, performs procedures and other direct patient care activities. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, significant others, co-workers, physicians, and other staff members. Essential Mental Abilities: Ability to prioritize and perform critical thinking process to include, but not limited to: (respiratory, cardio-pulmonary, neuro and psychosocial), to formulate a plan of care based upon the assessment and to evaluate the patient’s reaction to the plan of care.
