The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence. Duties involve implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for residents with varying needs. The COTA must communicate effectively with the Occupational Therapist and the interdisciplinary care team. Maintaining compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards is essential. Documentation must be completed per facility standards. SNF experience is preferred, but mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience. A flexible and collaborative mindset is necessary for this position. Holiday coverage may be required.
