associate veterinarians are invaluable members of our hospital
team, who work/ndirectly with the Managing Veterinarian, Hospital
Manager and support/nstaff. This team member advances the/nquality
of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional service to
both/nclients and patients. Specific job/nresponsibilities include:
· /nBuilding long-term, sustainable relationships/nwith clients as
partners in their cats’ lifelong care; · /nPerforming physical
examinations and diagnostic,/nmedical, surgical and dental
procedures that deliver the highest quality care/nusing
cat-friendly and fear-free practices to minimize patient stress
and/ndiscomfort; · /nCommunicating with and educating clients
on/ntopics including diagnoses, treatment plans, preventative
health care, and/nnutritional needs; · /nMaintaining accurate
medical records and/nensuring all necessary logs are kept accurate
and up-to-date through/nestablished protocols; · /nRemaining
current on contemporary medical/ninformation and changes in feline
veterinary medicine; · /nAssisting in the development of
the/nparaprofessional team to ensure delivery of the finest care
and exceptional/nclient service; · /nPresenting a positive image of
