Seeking an Occupational Therapist for School-Based Assignments in Newark, NJ An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapy services within school environments. This role involves working directly with school-aged children to support their developmental and functional needs through individualized therapy plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' occupational therapy needs. Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies to improve student participation and daily living skills. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success. Document progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Participate in travel between assigned school locations as required. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant state certification. Experience working within school settings or pediatric environments preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and school staff. Flexibility to travel between different school locations in Newark and surrounding areas. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
