Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team, focusing on providing superior rehabilitative services to our diverse patient spectrum. This role involves working across our inpatient and outpatient services within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, the OT will be involved in assessing patient needs, planning and administering therapy treatments, and recording progress to optimize patient outcomes while upholding our commitment to high-quality care. Evaluate patients' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans Help patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and prevent further disability Review patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Educate patients and families about being proactive in their care and wellness Maintain patient records and comply with healthcare regulations Extensive knowledge of therapeutic practices and modalities Ability to handle a caseload effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with electronic health records Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice Prefer candidates with BLS/CPR certification
