Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
practical experience. 5 years of experience with software
development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of
experience with full stack development, across back-end such as
Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience
including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. 3
years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software
products. 1 year of experience with software design and
architecture. Experience with the Android operating system,
internal frameworks, or the Android developer ecosystem. Preferred
qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or
related technical field. 5 years of experience with data structures
and algorithms. Experience developing accessible technologies.
Familiarity with the kids & families domain, including global
regulatory environments (e.g., COPPA, age of consent regulations)
and their technical implications. Ability to navigate high levels
of ambiguity and lead cross-functional collaboration with product,
policy, and UX stakeholders to drive long-term technical strategy.
Technical expertise in Google-specific stacks such as server
platform, Apps Framework, ACE, or Android Identity/OOBE. About the

salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus
equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,
and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can

more about benefits at Google . Responsibilities Write and test
product or system development code. Work in a frontend codebase of
Typescript/JavaScript, and Java in the backend. Build front-end
feature requests, make a goal, and define and execute a development
plan. Work well as a team, review teammates’ code, participate in
team activities (e.g., bug triage, feature design), mentor and
coach others, write documentation, and share your knowledge with
the wider engineering organization. Work with cross-functional
partners such as UX/UX Researcher (UXR), product managers,
engineering productivity, and program management.
