The ServiceNow platform will enable our business through top-quality user experience and integration. In specific, this is achieved through the global deployment of our platform with the HRSD and ITSM modules. As a member of the Enterprise Apps team, you will work closely with a highly capable team of engineers, business systems analysts, and program managers.In this role you will perform day to day administration of the Platform as well as work with process owners to define and refine user stories ultimately helping the team configure and implement solutions. You will be a key contributor in increasing adoption and consumption of platform capabilities by ensuring that enterprise IT business services can be deployed in a time, place, and configuration ideal for serving our customers and internal partners. You will also develop a comprehensive understanding of the current state and assist in the development of future state strategies specific to ServiceNow platform capabilities. *What You'll Do* * Partner with Leaders, Product and Engineering teams to define problems and design and scope solutions* Define the overall technical architecture and solution ecosystem and drive execution of foundational and transformational initiatives* Develop systems integrations and process automation, fully utilizing the platform's workflow capabilities including orchestration* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the current state and assist in the development of future state strategies specific to ServiceNow platform capabilities.* Create Service Catalog forms and views, configure modules and labels, build reports, dashboards and homepages. Utilize Performance Analytics to collect historical data.* Help coordinate application and platform upgrades* Assist in gathering and/or reviewing customer process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow, driving platform expansion and adoption.* Scope solution requirements and configure solutions around our platform to meet customer needs and project deliverables* Consider architectural dependencies, relationships, and integration points to ensure proper solution integration with other systems when applicable* Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end automated solutions which includes technical implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, workflow customization, ticketing, process automation, report development, dashboard creation, and system configurations *Basic Qualifications* * At least 8 years experience in a system engineering role with 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and implementation experience focused on platform and server administration and management* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with employees at all levels* Ability to partner with the business to build clear requirements and support the development of a strategy for each set of enhancements.* Solid understanding of the SDL methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.* Hands-on experience implementing components such as CMDB, CSDM, ATF, IntegrationHub ETL, RTE, Flow Designer, ITOM, ITSM, and ITIL* Experience with and demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript, Angular JS, or other related languages and libraries, Python, PowerShell, integrations with Web Services (SOAP and REST), and comfortable with API usage. *Preferred Qualifications* * ServiceNow Certifications for Platform, ITSM, HRSD, Application Developer, or equivalent modules.* Development of workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications* Hands-on experience with relational databases and proficiency in writing SQL and managing relational databases (SQL, MySQL, and Oracle)At Uber, we ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion.
