Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative – Your Job Duties Manage a San Francisco Bay Area territory focused on compact construction equipment sales Spend most of your time in the field visiting customers and prospects, with some time in the store showcasing equipment Prospect for new business through calls, visits, social media, and lead lists Build relationships with contractors, municipalities, and equipment buyers purchasing Compact Construction Equipment Run compact construction equipment demos and recommend the right solutions for each customer Track all customer activity, opportunities, and equipment in CRM Meet sales goals and performance targets Stay up to date on equipment, financing options, and customer needs Attend industry events, training, and networking opportunities Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit) Prior experience in agriculture, construction or equipment sales or leasing Background managing a sales territory Proven ability to prospect, follow up, and close deals Knowledge of how to use a CRM system for sales success Strong communication and relationship-building skills Deep roots selling in a construction related field in the San Francisco Bay Area with an existing network Network from selling to contractors, municipalities, or public agencies Motivation to hit sales goals and grow your territory Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative – You Might Also Have Prior experience with compact construction equipment or working at a dealership Strong understanding of equipment applications and customer use cases Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative – Benefits for You Your compensation for this Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative role will include a base salary of $60,000–$70,000, plus commission based on your sales performance. You will also receive full medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple plan options, a company-provided phone and laptop, and 3 weeks of PTO to start. Your benefits also include a 401k .
