- Med Surg ICU Overview: This part-time night role for a Registered
Nurse in the Med Surg ICU focuses on providing patient care through
the nursing process while collaborating with various departments
and ensuring patient confidentiality. Candidates must possess the
appropriate nursing license, certifications such as BLS and ACLS,
and the physical capability to handle demanding tasks. Our

The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver
exceptional patient care. You will be accountable for the care
provided to your assigned patients and will assess the overall
effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. This role
involves coordinating patient care with other departments while
upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities must
be carried out in alignment with our mission, values, and service
standards. Position Details: Qualifications: Education: Must have
graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree,
Diploma, or BSN). Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and
maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or a
compact license, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: Relevant experience in a nursing role is preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the
American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30
days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on
the specific position or unit, including: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency
Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON
(Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN (Oncology
Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) PEARS
(Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) S.T.A.B.L.E.
(Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And
Emotional Support) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) Other
unit-specific certifications as necessary. Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed
